Sear the steaks for 2 1/2 minutes, then flip and add butter, cooking for another 2 minutes. Remove steaks and let them rest. 3: In the same pan, turn heat down to medium and add red wine, cooking until it softly sizzles (about 2 minutes). 4: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch to create a slurry, then add to the pan and cook for 1 minute until thickened. 5: For the caramelized onion, heat a clean pan on medium, add steak drippings, butter, and reserved onions, cooking until softened and caramelized (about 9 minutes). 6: For assembly, combine cooked rice with the pickled plum paste, then layer it with the steak, red wine gravy, caramelized onions, and sliced green onions.View original recipe
