1: Whisk your sugars, salt, and butter together. 2: Add the vanilla and egg, then combine until ribbons form, don’t over whisk. 3: Fold in your flour and baking soda with a wooden spoon. 4: Add your chopped chocolate, leaving some back for topping. 5: Place the mixture in the fridge for 40 minutes to 1 hour to firm up. 6: Use an ice cream scoop to make cookie dough balls and freeze them on a tray until ready to bake. 7: Preheat oven to 180C (360F). 8: Place 2-3 cookie dough balls on a lined baking tray and add leftover chocolate on top. 9: Bake for 10-13 minutes. 10: Circle around them with a bowl to make them a nice shape and leave to cool. 11: Finish with some flaky salt and enjoy!View original recipe
