Kamisato Secret Bubble Tea

1: Combine 2 tablespoons of tapioca starch, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl.

2: If desired, add blue and purple gel food coloring and microwave for 1 minute.

3: Add 1 tablespoon of tapioca starch and knead the mixture for 5 minutes.

4: Divide the kneaded mixture into 25 pearls.

5: Boil the pearls in water for 5 minutes until they are cooked.

6: For the brown sugar syrup, boil ¼ cup of water and ¼ cup of brown sugar until syrupy and the sugar is dissolved (about 5 minutes).

7: Assemble the drink by combining steeped black tea, milk, whipped cream, and ice if desired.
